It is mainly about heat during the day, with the threat of thunderstorms in the evenings for the next few days. Some storms could be severe.

Afternoon high temperatures today will be mainly into the 90s, but could even hit triple digits in the Eastern edge of Montana. Conditions are generally dry, with lots of sunshine, but isolated storms could form off the mountains and in extreme Eastern Montana for this evening.

Overnight temperatures will be mainly into the 50s and 60s was some isolated evening storms especially North and East of Billings.

There is a bit more available moisture in the atmosphere by late tomorrow, bringing a better chance of late day showers and thunderstorms. The overall trend will be slightly cooler each day through Thursday.

Tonight… Partly cloudy with a 30% chance of showers or thunderstorms through the evening. By tomorrow morning, temperatures will drop to about 63.

Tuesday… Continued light winds, and mostly sunny. A high around 93 with a slight chance of a late day shower thunderstorm.
