There will be a similar pattern in the weather each of the next several days. Expect Sun mix with a few clouds during the day; temperatures running a little above average in the 80s to around 90; and stray scattered showers and thunderstorms.

The Storm Prediction Center has placed areas from South of Billings through northern Wyoming with a slightly elevated risk of strong to severe storms for this evening. Hail and pockets of heavy rain are possible with storms in this area.

Showers and thunderstorms have been somewhat random and unpredictable, and could pop up any time during the day. Still, the afternoons and evenings remain our best bet.
