The Storm Prediction Center has placed areas from South of Billings through northern Wyoming with a slightly elevated risk of strong to severe storms for this evening. Hail and pockets of heavy rain are possible with storms in this area.
Showers and thunderstorms have been somewhat random and unpredictable, and could pop up any time during the day. Still, the afternoons and evenings remain our best bet.
