Expect hot and dry weather across the region today. With isolated storms late today, the potential for thunderstorms and gusty winds increase by late Friday.
A sunny sky and a light wind and temperatures well into the 90s should be widespread this afternoon. A few isolated thunderstorms could develop this evening, but there isn’t very much moisture to work with.
Mostly clear overnight, with temperatures mainly in the 50s to low 60s by early Friday.
Highs will be in the 80s to low 90s and most of our area Friday. A Pacific cold front will bring increasingly gusty winds Friday night into Saturday with scattered thunderstorms. The wind remains Saturday, but afternoon high temperatures will slip to the 70s to mid 80s.
