Isolated storms and widepread warm

A week disturbance today, and a slightly stronger one tomorrow, bring the chance of isolated to scattered afternoon evening showers and thunderstorms. But, the big weather story will be the warmer and warmer temperatures the next several days.

Expect clouds to increase a little bit this afternoon, as a week disturbance moves from West to East in the region. Isolated storms will come off the mountains, but will tend to die off closer to Billings.

Temperatures regionwide today will be mainly in the 70s. Winds will generally be light overnight temperatures will be in the 40s to mid 50s.

Tomorrow, highs will be mainly in the 80s. A cold front will bring wind gusts and the potential for a few stray showers and thunderstorms tomorrow evening.

Billings forecast:

Today… Sunny, with a high near 77. Light South wind.

Tonight… Partly cloudy with a low around 53.

Thursday… Mostly sunny early, with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. About 84 for the high temperature.
