Showers and storms will become more frequent

After warm and mostly dry conditions today, the chance of showers and thunderstorms start to increase during the afternoons and evenings fairly consistently. There is a chance for some stronger storms late Thursday and Friday.

High temperatures today will be mainly into the 70s. Expect more sunshine East of Billings, with increasing clouds to the West. A week disturbance will bring a chance of showers or weak thunderstorms to mainly the higher elevations West of Billings this evening.

Partly to mostly cloudy overnight, with temperatures mainly in the upper 30s to mid 40s early Thursday. Tomorrow looks to be the warmest day in the short-term in much of the region with a highs in the upper 70s to 80s. Strong storms that could produce gusty winds and hail are possible in areas from Billings to the West on both Thursday and Friday afternoons and evenings.

Chance of thunderstorms decreases slightly on Saturday with some very warm afternoon readings in the 70s to 80s. Expect cooler in unsettled weather starting Sunday, with highs in the 60s to low 70s and a chance of afternoon and evening showers with isolated thunderstorms.

Today… Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. Light Southwest breeze.

Tonight… Isolated evening showers. Otherwise, partly cloudy with a low at about 51.

Thursday… Temperatures could peak at around 81. A slight chance of showers or thunderstorms increases to about a 50% chance by the evening.
