Light snow will mix with rain at times across the area today. The mountain foothills could pick up several inches of wet snow. After cool, wet weather today, a weekend warm up is coming.
High temperatures on this Good Friday will be in the 30s to low 40s. Expect clouds and showers early, with some clearing later in the day. Areas south and west of Billings, especially in the mountain foothills, could experience showers a bit longer.
After a chilly Saturday morning with temperatures in the teens and low 20s, sunshine and dry air move tomorrow’s highs to the mid 40s to low 50s. Sunday promises to be the warmest day, with highs in the 50s to around 60.
Current indications are that a powerful spring storm will impact the region Monday through early Wednesday. There are still some questions this far out, but cool temperatures and rain and snow can be expected.
