Close to average temperatures across the region with generally dry conditions are expected all away into the weekend. By Saturday and Sunday, temperatures will be much warmer than average for this time of the year.

Highs today will generally be in the 70s with sunshine in a few clouds. Winds will increase somewhat down the mountain slopes this afternoon. With low humidity and moderately warm temperatures, this will increase wildfire risk at least for a few hours later in the day.

Lows tonight will be mainly into the 40s to about 50° and partly to mostly cloudy. For Wednesday, temperatures will start to edge upward, with more the highs hitting the upper 70s to low 80s. That should be consistent through Friday.

For Saturday and Sunday, highs in the mid to upper 80s will be widespread. Dry conditions continue until the first of next week.

Billings forecast:

Today… Mostly sunny, and a high of about 76. West wind 5 to 15 mph.

Tonight… Mostly cloudy with a low around 51. Light wind.

Wednesday… Partly sunny, with a high near 80.
