Attorney General Tim Fox invites those who have been victims of crime in the Billings area to share their experiences at a forum at the Billings Public Library on August 18. Attorney General Fox, officials from the Montana Department of Justice and local law enforcement agencies, and victim advocates are planning to attend.
“I want to hear directly from victims about their experiences with the justice system, how they were treated by law enforcement and criminal justice personnel, and how the system might better serve them,” Attorney General Fox said. “The Montana Department of Justice is committed to ensuring the needs of all crime victims are met, from their initial contact with law enforcement through their interaction with criminal justice personnel, in our most remote rural corners, on our reservations, and in our urban areas.”
