At approximately 3:02 Am This Morning , officers responded to the intersection of Rimrock Rd and Melrose for a 2 vehicle accident with multiple injuries. A 1997 Subaru Impreza was traveling east on Rimrock. The Impreza was occupied with three passengers, and the driver. A 1996 Buick Regal was traveling west on Rimrock attempting to turn left into a private lot. The Subaru collided with the Buick as the Buick attempted to turn in front of the Subaru. The driver of the Subaru had to be extricated from the vehicle by emergency personnel. All four occupants of the Subaru were transported to Billings hospitals by ambulance for injuries that were not life threatening. The driver of the Buick sustained minor injuries, but was not transported to the hospital. Both vehicles sustained heavy front end damage, and were towed from the scene. The driver of the Buick was issued a citation for failure to yield to oncoming traffic while making a left turn.
