At approximately 2:00am MST today, Robert James LeCou (age 39) was arrested in Washington state for three counts of deliberate homicide. The arrest was carried out by the Montana Division of Criminal Investigation, Stevens County Sheriff’s Office, Spokane Police Department, and Federal Bureau of Investigation. LeCou was arrested at 11448 Meadow View Lane, Nine Miles Falls, Washington. The arrest warrant was issued by the Carbon County Attorney’s Office.

The Carbon County Sheriff’s Office and Division of Criminal Investigation are continuing the investigation into the three deaths. The victims are two females and one male, and at this point it appears all three died of gunshot wounds at a residence in Belfry. Names will not be released until the victims’ families have been notified and autopsies conducted by a state Medical Examiner in Billings.
