Governor Bullock’s Statement on Lt Governor McLean’s new position at the Office of Commissioner of Higher Education

 HELENA – Governor Steve Bullock today released the following statement on the announcement that Lt Governor Angela McLean will become the Director of American Indian and Minority Achievement & K-12 Partnerships at the Office of Commissioner of Higher Education. McLean will continue to serve as the Lt Governor until a new Lt Governor is appointed.                                                  “Angela has contributed to the success of our team during her tenure as Lt Governor.  Her life-long commitment to education and the relationships she has built in Indian Country will serve her well and continue to benefit Montanans across our state.  Her passion to work on challenging issues and continually seek opportunities to help others has led her to taking this new role, and she will be terrific at it.”

 

The Governor will begin the process to select the next Lt Governor for Montana immediately and will announce his selection in the coming weeks.
